Tunstall has been developing pioneering Connected Care and Health products for over sixty years. These are backed by advice, support and after sales services and a Customer Satisfaction Centre that is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Carecom takes a new approach to nurse call systems for residential and nursing care homes. It uses wireless and digital technology to enable care to be tailored to the individual, ensuring the delivery of care is more efficient, flexible and responsive.
The iVi Intelligent Pendant is a small, discreet and lightweight, wearable device which allows the user to raise an alarm from anywhere in the home if they are in difficulty. It also automatically raises an alarm if a fall is detected.
The Tunstall+ app has been designed to simplify the installation of the Lifeline Smart Hub and telecare sensors, increasing efficiency and improving the user experience by making it quicker and easier to set up telecare systems.
The bed/chair occupancy sensor provides an early warning by alerting that the user has left their bed or chair and not returned within a pre-set time period, indicating a possible fall. The sensor can also be programmed to switch on lights, helping people find their way to and from bed easily.
Fixed near the door, this button will provide reassurance in the event of an unexpected caller. It can also be used to summon assistance or verbal prompts can be given via the Lifeline unit. Such incidents will also be automatically recorded and may be used in evidence.
The Big Button Telephone with its large black buttons with white numbering, hearing aid compatibility, visual call indicator and earpiece volume control is the ideal phone for those with poor sight, hearing difficulties or limited dexterity.
Just Checking is a simple web-based activity monitoring system, which is stand alone and doesn’t require any other telecare devices, connection to a monitoring centre or telephone line. Small, wireless sensors in the home generate a chart of activity which is accessed via a secure website.
The Safe Socket is used to ensure that alarm calls are raised even though the telephone line is in use. It allows the Lifeline home unit to seize the phone line from other connected devices on the same line (i.e. extension phone, computer, fax machine, satellite receiver etc).
The Sounder Beacon combines visual indication together with a loud siren in order to alert people with hearing or visual impairments to a certain type of alarm activation (e.g. smoke alarm) or to an incoming telephone call. The Sounder Beacon can be connected to the Lifeline Vi, Lifeline Vi+ or other Tunstall telecare enabled systems.
The Ambient Temperature Sensor is a solution to monitor and maintain a healthy temperature within the home. It supports independent living by maintaining a pre-determined temperature to provide a comfortable living environment and monitor for unexpected changes.
The transition to digital presents both opportunities and challenges to health, housing, and social care providers. Digital technology has the potential to transform service delivery, making it more person-centred, preventative, and efficient, enabling data and information to be collected, analysed and interpreted, improving services for citizens.
