The interlinked smoke detector is a wireless smoke alarm designed to detect smoke and give an early warning if a fire should start. It operates individually or can easily be linked to other smoke detectors within the property to form a system.
The interlinked smoke detector can operate like a traditional smoke alarm, or for added reassurance can be wirelessly connected to a Tunstall hub to communicate with the alarm receiver for group living facilities or Alarm Receiving Center (ARC) operator for independent living.
Each smoke detector is powered by battery allowing simple installation. If one detector triggers an alarm, radio signals are sent to all other detectors on the system, and each will sound to ensure residents throughout the property are quickly alerted. The system can include up to 15 smoke detectors (including master device) and when connected to a Tunstall hub, any alarm raised will trigger an automatic call through to the ARC or Group Living alarm receiver to assist.
