Tunstall announces board changes based on continued progress

Tunstall has seen a strong performance year on year so far in 2024, particularly in Finland, Spain, and Germany and the ongoing digitization of the global health and social care landscape provides ample opportunity for the Group to continue its growth given its unique position in the industry. With these accomplishments realised, Peter Nicklin has informed the Board of his intention to step down from the Board and as Chair to focus his time on other projects.

With an aim to stabilize the business over his tenure, a new management team has been brought in to lead the next steps on a clear path to growth. Peter commented, “It has been a pleasure to work within such an important industry that all of us can easily identify with and recognise the important contribution we make to social and healthcare systems. I am proud to have played an important part in the redirection of the business, with the desired results. Most importantly, it has been a pleasure to work with the talented team at Tunstall over my 3-year tenure and would like to thank them for their trust and support during this time.”

Effective immediately, Tunstall is pleased to announce Steve Francis as Chair of the Board. Steve brings wide experience of making significant change happen in large pan-European businesses and relevant experience from several industries in helping them reach new levels of success. Steve commented “I am excited to join the team at Tunstall, a successful business with a bright future in an important and growing market. I am particularly attracted by the opportunity to help Tunstall achieve better integration of health and social care to benefit the most vulnerable members of society”.

Peter will work with the shareholders, Board, and management to ensure a smooth handover of chair responsibilities to Steve and will continue to support the success of the business wherever possible.

The shareholders and management team wish to thank Peter for his time, dedication, and expertise during his tenure as Chair at Tunstall while at the same time welcoming Steve to his new role. Tunstall wishes great success to both for the future.
