This new report from Public Policy Projects discusses how digital technology creates the opportunity to reshape healthcare, and the frustration that the NHS has been slow to apply digital technology to its core objective of targeting resources it needs. It surmises that although the Covid-19 pandemic resulted in the NHS demonstrating the requirement to respond to urgent need in technology innovation which its critics would previously have dismissed as fanciful, the pandemic has also shone an unforgiving spotlight on some familiar failings.
