Digital Noticeboard

Digital Noticeboard

Keeping your community connected

A Digital Noticeboard is a modern communication hub that keeps residents informed and engaged by displaying important updates, local news, events, and weather on a large screen in communal areas. With remote access via smartphones or tablets (no app required) it promotes social inclusion, encourages participation in community activities, and strengthens the connection between residents and their housing provider.

Stay connected from the comfort of your home

The digital noticeboard web app allows residents (as well as friends and family) to view the same helpful information shown on the Digital Noticeboard, such as updates, contact details, and activities, right from their own device. There's no need to download or install anything; it opens easily in a web browser and works on most smartphones, tablets, or computers. Whether relaxing in your flat or unable to visit the communal area, it’s a simple way to stay informed and feel part of the community.

  • Eye-catching wall-mounted display – Creates an engaging focal point in communal areas, enhancing the look and feel of your space.
  • Keeps residents informed and involved – Share important updates, announcements, and events in real time.
  • Customisable content – Display both corporate messaging and site-specific updates tailored to each location.
  • Accessible anytime, anywhere – Residents can view content remotely via a simple, app-free mobile web viewer, promoting inclusion and flexibility.
  • Easy and secure management – Control and update your Digital Noticeboard content effortlessly through a user-friendly, secure web portal.

How does it work?

The Digital Noticeboard consists of a 43” wall-mounted monitor, powered by a compact NB Player (a small internet-connected device) discreetly installed behind the screen.

Staff can easily create and manage bespoke content through a secure, user-friendly web portal. This content is then delivered to the monitor via the NB Player using a simple HDMI connection.

The system combines housing provider updates with real-time feeds from trusted sources like BBC News, providing residents with a rich, engaging mix of local and national information. Each Noticeboard can display up to 20 slides—10 tailored to the specific site and 10 organisation-wide—ensuring relevant and timely communication across all levels.
