Tunstall Connect is a simple to use smart phone app that can be used to assist in the support of vulnerable individuals in the community, offering valuable 24 hour connectivity to the monitoring centre. It can quickly identify, connect to and locate people who may require assistance, as well as providing them with an easy means of raising a request for help should they require it.
The app can be installed on Android and iOS smart phones, and each user is assigned an individual ID that will enable them to be identified by the Tunstall Response monitoring centre.
Tunstall Response will schedule a daily wellbeing call with the individual user. Users can opt out of each day’s call if they feel it is not required by pressing the I’m OK button on the app. The service will then reset each day to ensure that no calls are missed.
Users can also use the Make Wellbeing Call button on the app home screen at any time to immediately connect to Tunstall Response, putting the end user in touch with one of Tunstall Response’s operators who can assess the situation and take the appropriate action.
Tunstall Connect is able to use location services to accurately locate the user and direct responders to the right location where necessary.
Tunstall Connect is suitable for anyone who would like reassurance that their wellbeing is being proactively supported wherever they are, and that help can be requested if required.
