Tunstall is a fully approved supplier on the NHA Purchasing and Supply Agency (PASA) National Framework Agreement (NFA) for Telecare.
The NFA is a 4 year agreement (June 2006 - July 2010) covering the purchase, installation, maintenance and monitoring of telecare and telehealth products. The NFA supports the Department of Health's vision for telecare, as well as supporting public sector organisations to develop their services through procurement of equipment and services.
The NFA for telecare is an agreement negotiated by NHS PASA on behalf of public sector organisations under the terms of the EU Public Procurement Regulations via the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU). This means that public sector organisations can use the NFA without needing to tender for telecare equipment or services, saving time, resources and avoiding duplication of effort.
The NFA enables organisations to take advantage of nationally negotiated prices for telecare services as well as nationally undertaken commercial evaluation of suppliers. It includes the following telecare services - Equipment, Installation, Maintenance, and Monitoring.
