With a combination of highly sensitive GPS, GSM communications and an unmatched assortment of personal safety features, Geonovo's Romad RSP-100 handset can address all the requirements of both lone worker and telecare users. Weighing in at just 62.5g with battery, it is a small, discreet and lightweight personal safety phone which can be worn on a lanyard, placed on a belt holder or clipped into the specially designed badge holder. Simple over the air commands are used to configure the device, providing 4 pre-programmable speed dial numbers and a rugged SOS alert button.
Currently Geonovo has around 30,000 end users supported directly and through an international network of partners and distributors. While the UK is a significant focus for Geonovo, over 40% of sales are overseas with Spain and South Africa as the largest markets.
Research and development is led from UK and split between UK and Seoul, South Korea. Our Korean engineers are responsible for electronic and industrial engineering and overseeing manufacturing of the Romad handset, while platform software design and development is carried out by the UK team.
